“Our real estate experience with Jason Vogel was very good. Jason negotiated two purchases for me. Unfortunately, the first one fell through due to structural damage in the building which the seller hadn’t mentioned. We kept on going looking at other units until I was successful. Jason is a great negotiator! He delivered documents to me which had gone astray from the seller and from my insurance company. He was always available to look at units and to answer my emails and telephone calls. The best service Jason provided was negotiating the price on my new condo! I attended a workshop in October. It provided a lot of good basic information and I learned about Accredited Buyer’s Representatives. I then attended a Buyer Planning Session and it was valuable because I realized what I could afford. “Our real estate experience with Jason Vogel was great! The workshop was very helpful in providing information and making the home buying process a lot less intimidating. Jason has taken care of everything for us and was able to work in all of our appointments quickly even though we were buying outside of the GTA. His negotiating skills also saved us more than we were expecting on an already well-priced home. Jason put our interests first all of the time … he worked us easily into his schedule , even though distance was an issue – he found us only homes that met our requirements – worked to get us a really good deal. And the home inspection agent recommended was efficient, friendly and cost-effective. The best service that Jason provided was to make the whole process very easy and worry-free. The whole experience was enjoyable for us. The location we chose to work on the offer was a restaurant and Jason even bought us dinner! We have not had to worry about remembering any small detail – we were even sent moving cards to hand out. Your team put us first, which is the way it should be but often is not these days. “Jason was awesome! Both Chris and I are heavily tattooed and work in “alternative” fields. I run a tattoo shop and my husband is a pro wrestler. We expected to be treated a little like outsiders, however, he treated us with respect and courtesy. We “didn’t have a clue” when we started looking for a house and he not only educated us but used all of his knowledge to help and protect us along the way. He has to be the most patient man we’ve met. We saw about 150 houses (this is an exaggeration) before finding the perfect one and not once did he get frustrated or discouraged. Instead, he kept telling us not to worry, he’d find us the right one. And he did. Jason put our interests first all of the time. One of the first things that Jason told us when we started working together is that he’d never show us anything that we couldn’t afford. Sounds simple, but it’s very important. Seeing things that are out of your range can really discourage you and we appreciated that there was never any pressure put on us to go outside of our price range. Instead, he found us something that we really liked, in great condition, for what we could handle financially. Jason took care of everything. He even helped us with our mortgage and lawyer. We felt really “safe” having him take care of our first real estate transaction. It’s a scary thing if you’ve never done it before, and we felt totally confident working with him. Although stressful, the whole real estate experience was pretty exciting. Working with Jason was great. In fact, even when we saw the “wrong” houses, we could all laugh about it. When it came down to placing an offer we got to see Jason in action. He was so professional and really showed how much he was working for “us”. His interests were for his client and his client alone. Having daily emails of available houses made the search so much easier. You get so see what is available before wasting valuable time actually travelling to each location. In the beginning of our search, my husband and I thought that we’d perhaps try to find a house without a real estate agent. We know now that there is NO WAY we could have done any of this without Jason. … being treated fairly and considerately, having our questions answered no matter how silly they may have seemed and not feeling like our agent was just trying to make his commission was great. Thank you for Jason! Without him we wouldn’t own our new home, I’m convinced of that. When it comes time to move on, or when someone I know wants to buy or sell, he’ll be the one that we contact, without a doubt.”

“Our real estate experience with Jason was fantastic. From the beginning of our workshop and then working with Jason, the information was extremely helpful to first-time homebuyers such as us. George [Mortgage Broker} was able to answer questions we had regarding spousal RRSP and we were able to maximize our RRSP contribution that year to use towards our down payment. Jason made us realize that we had been putting off buying to save more money needlessly and that we were financially ready. Working with Jason was like working with a great friend whom we have known and trusted for years. He walked us through every step of the process and responded to our multiple emails and phone calls with lightning speed! We think Jason knew exactly what we were looking for better than we did. Through our discussions, he suggested including some listings that we had not initially considered from the pictures and descriptions we received and of course we ended up falling in love and buying a condo that we saw from Jason’s recommendation. We were very lucky in that it was less than a week from the day we started viewing condos to the day we closed! The negotiations were nerve-racking but we felt good knowing Jason was in our corner; he took care of everything for us and we almost couldn’t believe how smoothly and simple the whole process was when Jason announced, “Congratulations, you are now condo owners.” What a refreshing experience to be able to make such a big decision relatively stress free. Jason also got us in touch with George who gave us an unbelievable rate for our mortgage. We were so worried that we would have buyers’ remorse but frankly we couldn’t be happier with our decision to become homeowners – and we owe it all to Jason and his real estate buyers team. Jason put our interests first all of the time. He was a great listener and he would casually bring up conversations to get to know our personalities and home needs. He scheduled our meetings around our busy work and personal timetables. He pointed out the pros and cons for various condos but he never pushed anything on us or tried to sway our decision. During negotiations, he involved us fully in the suggested amount to go back to the sellers with. (Chuckle) Even though with Jason’s sharp negotiation skills he could have navigated a lower final price, he understood that we felt comfortable paying what the buyer came back to us with and that’s what we all agreed on. Jason told us from the start that he worked with only a small number of clients at any one time but for the weeks that we were in contact with Jason, we always felt that we were his ONLY clients from both the time and attention that he gave us. Hats off to Jason… we were wondering if he sleeps? We feel that we are easy to work with, that we are reasonable people who are not overly demanding. However, having said that, we do have extremely high standards and Jason not only met but also exceeded our expectations. What we were most impressed with was how much information we were given so that we could be empowered to make our own informed decisions. We are an independent couple that is not the typical “workshop” going type but you can do only so much research as first-time homebuyers and then you need to rely on the information you get from the experts. Jason and his team didn’t hold any back any “tricks of the trade” and that is what made the experience so great. Going from renters to owners was a very exciting prospect for us. It was fun looking through the listings and visiting the units in person. We were surprised how enjoyable the whole experience was and again it was because we had all the information we needed and Jason cushioned any of the stressful work for us. We’ve moved into our condo and are trying to settle in and unpack. Even though our work with Jason has completed we know that we can contact him at any time with questions and that gives us a great feeling to have him as a resource to call on. Jason also bought us two-bite brownies on our first outing — chocolate always helps with decision making. We were able to get referrals to anything real estate or moving-related that we needed so we were pretty happy with the “one-stop-shop” that Jason and his team were able to provide. We were extremely impressed with your Team’s service. We honestly cannot think of another service (and one so important as buying the home in which you will live in) that would even be comparable to Jason and his team. Our real estate lawyer was amazing also (we decided to go with a family friend) so all in all this experience has been nothing but positive. We were pleased that we were matched with Jason Vogel. We would have used the “fire us” clause if we felt that the buyer agent was not representing our best interests but we felt that Jason really understood where we were coming from and what our needs were. He was someone that we could respect from both a personal and professional level. “

Dear Jason Vogel, We are writing this letter to tell you of the great service that we received from every person that we dealt with in purchasing our first home. It seemed like fate that we met and immediately took to Jason Vogel one Sunday afternoon in the winter of 2004. We had been kicking around the idea of buying something, to get out of the “rent-hole”, as we affectionately refer to it, but did not really have the foggiest clue of what we were doing. After a chance meeting with Jason at an open house near our apartment building, our confusion was lessened. He immediately directed us to your workshop and set down the reality for us that we would need to be prepared to do a little homework before we began packing boxes. Jason was attentive, but never pushy, and gave us the right guidance to get us going. We attended the first Home Buyer’s Workshop and were captivated by how well both of you and George Christopoulos spoke. We left the workshop far more educated and with a sense of ease at knowing what was to come and what needed to be done. We met with Jason again for our consultation and then went to TD to get a mortgage. We clearly understand why you have the kind of relationship that you do with George, the folks at TD are fabulous, and both of us are now banking there. Once we were granted our pre-approval, the shopping began. Two solid weeks of shopping that is! Jason was so patient and cooperative with us. He never let us down and was amazingly helpful. We could not have asked for a better ally. We bought a loft in the same neighbourhood that we were renting, (and do so love!) and moved in two weeks ago. We still have things to unpack, and new furniture is a must, but we needed to take the time to tell you what you probably already know, that you have the best Buyer Agent there is in Jason Vogel. We already have and will continue to tell everyone we know about our excellent experience with Jason and the entire team. You can be sure that we will be back again in three years to sell our unit and purchase something else, and we would not consider anyone else. We found my first real estate experience went very well. Jason was always there to answer all of our questions and he also always had the answers. He was also very helpful when it came to looking at houses and finding exactly what we were looking for. Jason also went out of his way to make sure we could visit houses at times that were convenient for us. Overall Jason was easy to talk with and always had our best interests in mind. When we were viewing a house Jason made sure he went through the whole house with us and offered us his opinion but overall let us decide if it was right for us. This was good because I’m sure Jason has seen a lot of houses and we really haven’t so we valued his opinion. Always being available for us we needed to talk with him and always being understanding and easy to talk with was one of the best services Jason provided. Jason was also willing to give us references for lawyers, home inspectors or anything else related to buying our house. The whole real estate experience was enjoyable for us and even though we were making the biggest purchase of our lives it didn’t seem that scary. I was actually going through a tough time when we were making an offer on our house my mother was sick and in the hospital. Jason realized this and helped out by taking care of a lot of things for us and always offering his sympathies. I found your team, like businesses that have given me great customer service in the past, makes me feel comfortable and willing to work with you again. I also think that great customer service shows a certain type of professionalism. I found our home inspector to be very good at what he does. It was Jim with Carson Dunlop. He made us feel confident that our home was in good shape and it was great that he told us what we could improve on to make our home better. Jason made our home buying experience easy and pleasant. We never felt any pressure. We found Jason very knowledgeable and helpful in every step of finding the right home. “The overall experience with Jason was very helpful. We had two meetings discussing my needs and requirements leading to the purchase. Jason narrowed my price range and location to fit my needs and contacted George Christopoulos to get my mortgage pre-approval started.
